Install HedgieTools like an app: an icon on your desktop or home screen, its own window, and all your tools in one click. Free, no app store, and always private.
Install the app
It takes a few seconds, from your browser. Choose your device.
On Windows, Mac or Linux
- Open HedgieTools in Chrome or EdgeOn a Mac, Safari works too (see the note below).
- Click the install iconThe screen with an arrow, on the right of the address bar. If you do not see it, open the browser's ⋮ menu: Cast, save and share › Install page as app (in Edge: ··· › Apps › Install this site as an app).
- Confirm with “Install”HedgieTools opens in its own window and appears in the Start menu, the Dock or the Launchpad.
Safari on a Mac: File menu › Add to Dock. Firefox cannot install a site on a computer: just use the site.

Uninstall it
On a computer: in the HedgieTools window, open the ⋮ menu at the top and choose “Uninstall”. On a Mac with Safari, delete it from the Applications folder.
Mobile apps are coming
HedgieTools apps for iPhone and Android are in the works, to download from the App Store and Google Play. Meanwhile, the app installed from your browser already gives you every tool.

About installing HedgieTools
HedgieTools can be installed on your computer or your phone like an app, straight from the browser.
What is a web app?
HedgieTools is a progressive web app (PWA): the site installs on your device like an app, without going through a store. It opens in its own window, with its own icon, and stays up to date by itself.
Which browsers?
On a computer: Chrome, Edge, and Safari on a Mac. On iPhone and iPad: Safari. On Android: Chrome. Firefox cannot install a site on a computer: just use the site.
Always private
The installed app works exactly like the site: everything happens on your device and nothing is sent.
