Free Lorem Ipsum generator

Generate placeholder text for your mockups, prototypes and layouts. Pick a style, a quantity and an output format: the result appears instantly, entirely in your browser.

Why use Lorem Ipsum?

Placeholder text lets you judge a layout — line length, hierarchy, spacing — without being distracted by real content. The classic Latin text has been used as a convention since the 1500s, first by printers, later by designers.

Paragraphs, sentences or words

Pick the unit that fits: paragraphs for a block of content, sentences for a caption or an excerpt, words for a precise fill (a title, a button, a short label).

More styles than just Latin

Bacon Ipsum, Cat Ipsum or corporate jargon keep the same sentence structure but swap the vocabulary, to vary or amuse a mockup headed for a client.
