Redact information on images or PDFs for free

Load one or several screenshots, photos or PDFs, then draw rectangles over what should not be seen: a phone number, an address, an IBAN, a social security number or a face. Download copies where those areas are erased, in PDF or as an image. Everything happens in your browser: nothing is ever uploaded to a server.

Really removed, not just covered

A black rectangle placed over text in a word processor or a PDF reader comes off in two clicks, and the text is back underneath. A blur or a pixelation can sometimes be reversed too. Here, the pixels under each area are replaced, and the file is rebuilt page by page without the hidden content.

Before you send a document

A payslip, a bank statement, an invoice or a screenshot of a conversation: redact what the recipient does not need to see. To go further, add a watermark afterwards with the Watermark tool, to show who the document was sent to.

Nothing is uploaded

Each file is processed by your browser, on your device. Nothing is ever sent to a server, which matters all the more for documents you are precisely trying to protect.
