Add a watermark to images or PDFs for free

Load one or several photos, scans or PDFs, type the text of your choice and it appears across each document, tiled or centered, on every page. Adjust the color, opacity, size and angle, then download the protected copies. Everything happens in your browser: nothing is ever uploaded to a server.

Protect an ID document

Before sending an ID card, a passport or a proof of address to an agency, an employer or a website, write on it who it's for, what it's for and the date. If the document leaks, it becomes much harder to reuse for another purpose, and it is clear where it came from.

A watermark that can't be removed

The text is not a layer placed on top: it is merged into the pixels when the copy is downloaded. A tiled layout covers the whole surface, which makes the image or page much harder to crop or clone around.

Nothing is uploaded

Each file is decoded, watermarked and re-encoded entirely on your device, even offline once the page has loaded. Note that watermarking a PDF turns each page into an image: its own text is no longer selectable, and any metadata the original file carried is dropped along the way.
